If you ask any student in grade school, why the city of North Carolina, Kitty Hawk is significant in American history, they would know the answer immediately. They will know that it was a place that Orville and Wilbur Wright made the first flight workers have found that people can fly.
Today, thousands of aircraft, taking to the sky at any time and experience flying high above the ground is as common as riding a bike, it seems as far as the ancient Romans, a world where men didn't fly.But we have to go during the days before the Wright brothers phenomenal discoveries and inventions first flight, when there was a time when it was firmly believed that a man will never fly like a bird, and indeed, people will never fly, but always be sushi. we can be thankful that the Wright brothers did not hold this belief.
This is the first successful flight Date 17 December 1903 it was on that fateful day that Orville and Wilbur successfully made the first controlled, powered flight, heavier than air. This break through the ranks as one of the greatest inventions in American history and in truth, one of the great inventions of all time, as a man dreaming to fly as far back as we were primitive drawings illustrating this dream.
Wright brothers, well suited to undergo tedious research finally create computer that can achieve this feat.We all know that great inventions often results in hundreds or thousands of test failures and, where the inventor is improving their ideas and makes new discoveries that take it step by step to the final breakthrough. of course, this applies to the Wright brothers.
Our link for your flight is as common as horse riding, bicycle well chosen because it is the vocation of the Wright brothers, mechanics and repair printing presses, motors and bicycles, gave them knowledge of the inner workings of such machines to be a computer that is able to maintain flight. Their work to improve the design of the bike to lead them to believe that the flight is not the conquest of sufficient capacity on a plane, it provides mechanisms to monitor and balance to hold the aircraft sustained with reasonable consistency can take it in the air.
Long before the first successful flight of the Wright brothers had their research.Using their bike shop like a makeshift laboratory, they first experimented with gliders and unmanned aerial vehicles in order to clarify their theories and their designs. But finally on December 17, 1903, they reach their dreams, even if only for a short time.Orville Wright account that first flight is scientific and understated.
«Wilbur started the fourth and final voyage in just about 12 hours. The first few hundred feet were up and down as before but the time was extended to three hundred feet, the machine was under much better control over the course of the next four or five hundred feet was but little undulation. However, as of about eight hundred feet machines started pitching again and, in one of its DART down, hit the ground distance on the Earth has been measured in 852 ft; flight amounted to 59 seconds.
Little did I know that the Wright brothers, all new branch will be built around these simple experiments. in addition, they have achieved a dream man dreamed for centuries, in fact, be able to fly above the Earth's surface and back safely is actually one of the great achievements of American history.
